  1. I am watching the final now, tell the commentators that Shorbagy is so tired cause he is fasting Ramadan, no food no drink, how are they not aware? or find it a bit weird that he is in such distress, I am not a Shorbagy fan at all BTW but this is painful to watch.

  2. Greg wasn't at his best in this final, physically at least, Elshorbagy did make him move, but credit to Elshorbagy for playing a great tournament thus far with those comebacks and not so easy matches. I really do hope Ashour can come back as the way it seems, it will be almost impossible to remove him from the no 1. spot. Gawad has dipped, ramys injuiries, matthew retiring, and Greg to be gone soon.

  3. Elshorbagy has turned the British Open into his personal fitness test playground. He is deliberately stretching games to 5 setters and giving up games to prove he can win the tournament under any physical condition. The way he is conditioning himself in this manner(even Ramy use to this), he is likely to dominate the sport with no real competitor for the next few years

  4. Was expecting the Kandra match to be a lot closer. Maybe his previous matches had taken more out of him. And after the highs of winning vs so many great opponents, he couldn't maintain it.
